Our facilities are divided into different branches of service in order to best respond to your needs. There is the production facility which houses the staff and equipment responsible for general assembly, erection, wiring, and testing of instruments as they are built. The woodshop houses the equipment and staff responsible for our cabinetry production, component parts production, CAD instrument design, and on-site engineering for organ installation. The pipework and voicing department houses the staff and equipment responsible for assuring the pipework in your instrument is properly voiced and prepared for installation.
Over the past three decades, the A. E. Schlueter Pipe Organ Company has been
responsible for the installation of new organs ranging in size from several
ranks to the 92 rank organ at Morehouse College in Atlanta. During that
same
period our workshop has been home to countless instruments as they have gone
through various types of rebuilding.
Our technicians are trained to re-leather pneumatic organs, replace and adjust tracker action, correct keyboard or pedal clavier problems, repair ciphers or solve any other problems that can keep an organ from sounding its best. Many repairs can be made on site, or, when necessary, in our custom-built, fully equipped workshop.
In addition to being able to accommodate 150 plus ranks of pipes and related structure in our main workroom, we have additional smaller workshops where we can repair electronic parts, regulate and voice pipe work, and restore or recreate precision replacement parts. We use the finest wood and precision tools to make and rebuild first-rate consoles. Every console is tailored to the exact specifications of your organ.
Our staff work with one goal in mind: we support your ministry by providing an
instrument built by the hands of professionals determined to make your
instrument touch the hearts and lives of many church members for generations to
come.
